1. Information We Collect

GreetingStudio is operated by Ivan Dovbenco, a sole trader based in the Republic of Moldova, who is the controller of your personal data.

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, upload images, or contact us for support. This includes:

  • Name and email address
  • Photos you upload to add to your cards
  • The cards you save and basic usage data
  • Purchase records (plan, designs bought, dates and amounts). Payments are processed by Creem, our reseller and merchant of record — we never see or store your card details

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our greeting card and invitation editor
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send transactional emails such as email verification and receipts
  • Respond to your comments and questions

3. Uploaded Images

Photos you upload are used only to show them in the cards you make in our editor. They are placed into your card exactly as you uploaded them — we do not alter faces or likenesses, and we do not use your images to train any models. Images are stored securely and associated only with your account.

Please upload only photos you have the right to use, and photos of other people only with their permission.

You may delete any saved card design yourself from your account at any time. To permanently remove all uploaded photos, request account deletion as described in Section 6 below — this removes your uploaded images and saved cards from our storage.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the service, including:

  • Creem (creem.io) — our reseller and merchant of record, which processes payments, collects tax, issues receipts and handles refunds; it receives your email address and the details you enter at checkout
  • Cloudflare — hosting, security and storage of uploaded images and saved cards

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

5. Cookies

We use secure, HTTP-only cookies to maintain your login session. Advertising cookies are used only if you choose "Accept all" (see below). When you go to checkout, Creem's payment page sets the cookies it needs to process and protect the payment.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4 (a service of Google) to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and sends usage data to Google. We turn off Google's advertising and ad-personalization features. These cookies are optional: Google Analytics is not loaded until you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. Declining does not affect your use of the site.

If you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner, we also use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, for Facebook and Instagram) and the TikTok Pixel (TikTok) to measure how our ads perform, for example how many people who saw an ad visited the site, opened a card or downloaded one. They set cookies (such as _fbp and _ttp) and send this activity, along with technical data like your IP address and browser, to Meta and TikTok, which process it under their own privacy policies. They are not loaded if you choose "Analytics only" or "Decline", and you can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
