Question 1

Is GreetingStudio free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pick a design, change every word, and download your card — no account needed. Sign in when you want to keep your cards in your account.

Question 2

What kinds of cards can I make?

Accepted Answer

Wedding cards (invitations, save the dates, engagement, bridal shower, RSVP and thank-you cards), birthday invitations for kids and adults — from 1st birthdays to Sweet 16, Quinceañera and milestone 30th–90th birthdays — and holiday cards for Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Diwali, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Lunar New Year and more. You’ll also find cards for new babies, graduations, anniversaries, thank-yous and other occasions.

Question 3

What can I change in the editor?

Accepted Answer

Everything. Click any text to change the words, font, colour, size and spacing, or curve it. Move, resize and layer every piece, add elements, photos and sound, undo any step, and use Preview to see the finished card before you download it.

Question 4

Can I design a card from scratch?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose Design Own Card, pick a portrait, landscape or square card, then add text, photos and over 100 elements — flowers, frames, dividers, and animated pieces like hearts, sparkles and balloons.

Question 5

What are animated cards?

Accepted Answer

Cards that move: falling snow, swaying flowers, floating hearts, or your names written out by hand. Look for the animated designs in each category, or add animated elements to any card yourself. They play in Preview and download as a GIF or MP4 video, ready to send.

Question 6

What file formats can I download?

Accepted Answer

Every card downloads as a high-resolution PNG image or a print-ready PDF. Animated cards and cards with sound can also be saved as an MP4 video, and animated cards as a GIF.

Question 7

Can I add music or a voice message to my card?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the editor’s Sound tab, pick a song from our music library, upload your own music, or record a voice message. It plays when you preview the card and is included in the MP4 video.

Question 8

Can I add my own photos?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Add a photo frame — circle, arch, heart and more — and double-click it to upload your photo. You can move and zoom the photo inside the frame and add an outline.

Question 9

Where do I find the cards I saved?

Accepted Answer

When you’re signed in, saved cards are in your account. Without an account they’re kept in this browser under My Cards — sign in to keep them for good. Templates always open fresh, so saving creates your own copy.

Question 10

Can I print my card?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Download it as a PDF: it’s made at the card’s real size (for example 5 × 7 inches) in print quality, ready for your home printer or a print shop.

Question 11

Can I share my card on social media?

Accepted Answer

Of course. Send the MP4 video to Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp, or the GIF in messages and email. Our designs and music are our own or traditional public-domain works, so you can share your cards anywhere.
